Meet the founders, Lisa & Jose. We are a husband & wife photo and film duo based in Northern Illinois. We're high school sweethearts and have been inseparable ever since. We spend our free time exploring the world one vacation at a time and hanging out with family and friends. We've been a part of the photography & videography world for over five years now and we love every second of what we do and all the amazing people we get to do it with! We can't wait to get to know you all and truly connect with each one of our clients!

Our Story
When we started planning our own wedding we knew we wanted our day captured on video. As we started to look around at our options we quickly realized that every company was way out of our budget. All of the quotes we were given were nowhere near what we had in mind (budgeting is huge during wedding planning.) 6 months after we got married we decided we were going to open up our own photo & video company and be an option for people like us that wanted this memory captured but didn't want to spend 2-3 months of a mortgage payment on Photo & video. We're so happy we're able to provide services to people who are in the same shoes we were once in. Horizon Media's goal is to provide affordable photography & videography to everyone. Whether you're getting married, finding out the gender of your baby, or starting a business and need to show the world what you have to offer, we're here for you.
FUN FACTS
about Lisa & Jose
- Born and raised in southeastern Iowa, Lisa is a die-hard Iowa Hawkeyes fan.
- Jose is a Die-hard Chicago Bears fan (Sadly)
- Avid pickleball players (Yes we will gladly face you in pickleball name a place and time and we are there!)
- Parents to our beautiful baby boy named Ezra born in the summer of 2024.
- Lisa is a former softball player.
- Jose is a former competitive swimmer
- We love Sonic! no not the hedgehog the drive-in ice cream place lol
